Big Idea: Spiritual renewal results from passionately pursuing God for true spiritual power, that only comes from a deeper experience of his love.

1. We need to ask God for spiritual power

   a. Prayer comes from a humble heart

   b. The power of God works from the inside out

   c. The power of God reveals more of Christ

2. We need to ask God for a deeper understanding of his love

   a. It’s about God, by his Spirit, deepening our grasp of something we already have

   b. We need a deeper experience of God’s love in order to become spiritually mature
